Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in New Milford, CT is hiring a full‑time hand therapy professional to treat upper extremity disorders. The role accepts a Certified Hand Therapist or an experienced hand therapist (non-certified).

You will collaborate with a regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure access to resources for success. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, and patient discharge while maintaining strong relationships with partner facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy is required.
• Holding specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy is preferred.
• National registration and state licensure or registration required.
• Solid experience with custom splinting in orthopedic contexts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan of care, treat, re-evaluate and discharge high quality hand therapy services.
• Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs for upper extremity conditions.
• Maintain positive relations with facilities and clients to expand therapy services.
• Stay current with evidence-based practice and continue professional development.

Monday through Friday

Compensation:

Salary is $90k to $110k based on experience

Part-Time and PRN are also available!

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, to treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures, and more. We are seeking a skilled hand therapist experienced in custom splinting. The Certified Hand Therapist will collaborate with our regional hand therapy coordinator to ensure you have the necessary resources for success.

We prefer a CHT but can use a non-certified hand therapist with experience.

• Previous,demonstrated marketing experience
• Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
• CPR certification
• Valid state driver’s license
