Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group in Gilbert, AZ, seeks an Orthopedic Hand Surgery Advanced Practitioner (PA-C or NP) to support acute care and hand surgery. You will perform clinic coverage, hospital rounding, injections, first assisting, and participate in QA and multidisciplinary care.

Candidates must have PA-C with AZ license or MSN for NP, valid DEA, and hand-surgery experience. We offer full benefits, CME allowance, tail malpractice coverage, relocation assistance, and employer-match retirement.

Qualifications

• PA-C or NP with hand surgery experience is required.
• Active or eligible AZ license and DEA registration.
• Credentialing for medical staff is required.
• 2+ years Hand Surgery experience would be desired.

Responsibilities

• Weekly clinic coverage with Physician.
• Possible after hours call for emergent patient needs.
• Hospital rounding.
• Administer injections with/without ultrasound guidance.
• Surgical first assisting including wound closure.
• Maintain up-to-date orthopedic practices via CME.
• Order, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and physical therapy as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team.
