Job summary

Dignity Health Medical Group in Gilbert, Arizona seeks an Orthopedic Hand Surgery Advanced Practitioner (PA-C or NP) to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic acute setting. You’ll cover weekly clinic duties, assist in surgery, administer injections, perform rounds, and participate in QA/QI initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Eligible candidates hold PA-C with AZ license or MSN and active/eligible licenses, with DEA registration; 2+ years Hand Surgery experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must-have qualifications for clinical practice in orthopedic hand surgery.

Responsibilities

• Weekly clinic coverage with physician.
• Rounding in hospital.
• Administer injections with/without ultrasound guidance.
• Surgical first assisting including wound closure and splinting.
• Order, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and administer medications and physical therapy as necessary.
• Participate in quality assurance/improvement for patient care.
