Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for using appropriate tools to sand furniture.

Essential Duties

• Will be required to read production tickets on the pieces of furniture being sanded
• Manually sands wood furniture and frames using various jigs and tools developed for sanding
• Repairs minor defects in the wood using appropriate tools and materials
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• Works as part of a team to meet or exceed production goals
• Will assist with unloading trucks, containers, etc.
• Will assist with moving furniture frames throughout the plant and storing into inventory

• Previous sanding experience a plus
