Qualifications

• Experience with soldering, de-soldering and inspection processes compliant with IPC standards.
• 2+ years of experience in hand repair, rework, or assembly within an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and technical dexterity.
• 2+ years in hand repair/rework/assembly in electronics manufacturing.
• Hours: 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Overview

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking a Hand Repair Operator whose primary duties will include performing precise manual repairs and rework on electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and components. This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:00A-3:30P) - In Person Only. Located at our Quintech Electronics headquarters location in Indiana, PA.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering and rework of through-hole and surface-mount components.
• Identify and repair manufacturing defects, including solder bridges, open circuits, and component misplacement.
• Inspect and verify assemblies for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Utilize magnification tools, microscopes, and other inspection equipment.
• Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repair and rework activities.
• Adhere to company quality standards, ESD handling procedures, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in process improvements and continuous quality initiative.

Candidate Requirements

• High school Diploma or GED
• Experience with soldering, de-soldering and inspection process in compliance with IPC standards
• Strong attention to detail and technical dexterity is required
• 2+ years of experience in hand repair, rework, or assembly within an electronics manufacturing environment
