Position Description: | The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation is seeking an Orthopedic Hand surgeon who will have teaching, research, and clinical service responsibilities in the Hand and Wrist Division of the department. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor based on background and qualifications and may be either on the Clinical or Tenure Track, depending upon research interests and background. The University of Iowa is a level 1 trauma center and cares for severely injured patients from around the state. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our academic department and to be a part of our growing hand and wrist service. Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check. |
