Job summary

Radius Aerospace in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Hand Finisher/Deburr (Assoc) to join our fast-paced machine shop. This full-time role involves shaping and deburring components, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Two shifts are available: 1st shift 6am–2:30pm, or 2nd shift 1:30pm–midnight, Mon–Fri or Mon–Thu. You will work with deburring equipment, monitor quality, and follow safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret basic documents and drawings.
• Proficient in basic computer tasks and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Performs machine and hand finishing to smooth and blend components according to customer specifications.
• Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality using control procedures and certify/test product.
• Ensure deburring equipment is maintained and used properly.
• Maintain inventory of deburring and lapping supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs machine and hand finishing techniques to smooth and blend rough components into finished products according. Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and certify/test product.

• Know and follow general company and corporate policies and procedures.
• Know, understand, and follow department policies and procedures.
• Performs machine and hand finishing techniques to smooth and blend rough components into finished products according to customer specifications.
• Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketches, and product/engineering specifications.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and certify/test product.
• Ensures deburring equipment performance by taking proper care of all tools and equipment.
• Ensures continuous production flow by maintaining proper and adequate inventory of deburring and lapping supplies.
• Ensures that all products conform to print specifications by following operations/manufacturing instructions regarding deburring and/or lapping requirements for each part produced.
• Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.
• Other various duties as needed or as assigned.

Position Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 2 shifts available. 1st shift 6am-2:30pm M-F and 2nd shift 1:30 pm-midnight M-Thur
