Job summary

Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is seeking a diligent assembler to perform a variety of assembly operations according to blueprints and work instructions. You will set up parts, conduct tests, and assist with quality control and data entry to improve processes.

The role emphasizes safe, accurate work, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful; starting pay is $16.00 per hour with room to increase based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math/reading comprehension.
• Experience with assembly or related manufacturing tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and use basic pneumatic tools.
• Set parts and subassemblies by reading templates and measurements.
• Follow work instructions and blueprints.
• Read drawings and interpret specs for manufacturing parts.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and proper documentation.
• Assemble parts to subassemblies with bolts, screws, rivets.
• Verify tools are in good working order.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts.

Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is a leading manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies used in the aviation industry. We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets.

Position Summary

Perform a variety of assembly operations according to work instructions. Setup and make adjustment according to blueprint and work instruction specifications. Perform a wide variety of compound tests, fit checks, troubleshooting, and rework on components and/or assemblies; follow-up with data entry and suggest improvements. Monitor and verify quality processes or other control procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to identify and properly use basic pneumatic tools such as drill motors, dotco's and countersink cutters
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Prepares work to be accomplished by understanding assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists
• Read and Interpret drawings, illustrations, specifications and identifies their relevance to the manufacturing of parts
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assembles parts to subassemblies using bolts, screws, rivets, and demonstrates the proper use of adhesives.
• Documents processes by properly completing production and quality forms.
• Verifies all tools are in acceptable working condition including calibrated equipment and demonstrates the proper use of them
• Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications and activities
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic math and reading comprehension
