Job summary

The Vcu Rrtc is seeking a board certified or eligible orthopaedic or plastic surgeon specialized in hand and extremity reconstruction. This role involves diagnostic and interventional management, focusing on traumatic and oncologic injuries.

Located in Richmond, Virginia, the position includes mentoring activities and opportunities for publications. Ideal candidates will have a valid Virginia medical license, an MD or DO degree, and a completed residency in Orthopaedic or Plastic Surgery.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME accredited Hand Fellowship is desirable but not essential if qualified in complex hand trauma.
• Demonstrated ability to foster respect and professionalism in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and interventional management for hand and extremity reconstructive indications.
• Collaborate on investigative work leading to publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring activities for medical students and residents.
