Job summary

Welch Packaging Group is seeking a production team member to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes strict safety adherence, accuracy in built products, and maintaining high productivity to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Candidate will work with team members to keep the plant clean and organized while performing common packing-related tasks such as assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, sticker placement, and tape application.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand 8–10 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure product being built meets specifications and is 100% accurate.
• Maintain productivity to support on-time delivery to customers.
• Maintain plant housekeeping standards.
• Work collaboratively with all team members.
• Assist with assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

SUMMARY

Work in a production environment following all safety procedures, quality processes and hitting our targeted build rates.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a repeatedly on a regular basis.
Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
Bend, stand, squat, twist repeatedly.
