Heidelberg Materials North America in Georgia is seeking a team-oriented operator to run hydraulic hammer equipment and support quarry production. You will perform pre-shift checks, address equipment issues, and adjust operations to keep safety and throughput high.
A strong safety mindset and clear communication with crew are essential. You will work in a dynamic environment with exposure to varying weather and noise levels, adhering to site procedures and ensuring consistent material flow.
Operate hydraulic hammer equipment safely and efficiently to support production goals
Break oversized rock and material to maintain consistent processing flow
Perform pre-operational inspections and report equipment issues promptly
Monitor work areas and adjust operations to maintain safety and productivity
Follow site procedures and communicate effectively with team members to support operations
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in an industrial or quarry environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify basic equipment concerns
Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production-focused setting
Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to adapt to changing operational needs
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
$23.54 to $28.33 per hour
