General Description:

The supervisor will oversee, evaluate, and direct personnel during their shift, ensuring operations align with sound principles, company policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include stimulating safety, efficiency, and productivity among production workers; ensuring proper employee training; anticipating and addressing delays in shift operations; and taking appropriate actions to meet production schedules. The supervisor applies company employee relations and union policies in all dealings with employees. They will monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are maintained and sanitized for optimal production. Additionally, they will arrange for the preparation and maintenance of production records such as payroll and yields. The role requires close collaboration with other production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork across departments and the plant facility. The supervisor is expected to attend scheduled or called meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
