Job summary

Fresh Mark is seeking a Ham Packaging and Quality Control Associate in Salem, OH. You will rotate between wrapping, sealing, weighing, and labeling ham products, inspecting appearance, weight, and spec compliance to meet food safety standards.

You will receive hands-on training, work on 1st or 2nd shifts, with competitive hourly pay and opportunities for advancement. This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy, and a strong work ethic in a clean production environment.

Qualifications

• No prior food manufacturing experience required; hands-on training provided.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Package, wrap, seal, and prepare ham products for shipment.
• Inspect for quality, appearance, weight, and spec compliance.
• Accurately weigh and label finished goods.
• Operate or assist with packaging equipment and production machinery.
• Monitor quality throughout the process and communicate issues promptly.
• Move materials and finished goods within the department.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, quality, and safety procedures; wear required PPE.
• Work efficiently to meet daily output goals.
• Perform general labor tasks as assigned

You’ll rotate between stations—wrapping, sealing, weighing, and labeling—while keeping a close eye on appearance and weights. You’ll work side‑by‑side with production and quality teammates to make sure every package meets customer specs and food safety standards. By the end of your shift, you’ll see the results of your work palletized and ready to ship.No prior food manufacturing experience? No problem. We provide hands‑on training so you can learn quickly and grow confidently.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay
• 1st Shift: $15.00 per hour
• 2nd Shift: $16.50 per hour (includes shift differential)
• $400 Probationary Completion Bonus

When You’ll Work

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
• Schedule: Full‑time, Monday-Saturday; overtime as production requires

Specific shift placement will be discussed during the interview process.

• Available for overtime and Saturdays when needed
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
