What You Will Do

Our Part-Time Sales Leaders bring the Hallmark mission to life in the store. They are the face of the Hallmark brand to customers and are vital to our success.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional shopping experience that leaves guests inspired, ready to connect, and eager to return.
  • Model and coach service and selling skills, helping customers find the perfect card and gift solutions.
  • Lead store associates in the absence of the Store Manager, providing feedback and support.
  • Communicate daily priorities, goals, and business information, maintaining a fun and supportive team environment.
  • Execute store operations including product replenishment, merchandising, ringing sales, processing shipments, managing inventory, and POS audits.
Knowledge and Expertise
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • One or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service; or at least 6 months in a Hallmark Store.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Availability to open and close the store multiple times per week and work weekends.
  • Physical ability to stand/walk frequently, push/pull, bend, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
  • Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
  • Effective communication with customers and team members.
  • Comfort with using computers and technology.
