WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Our Part-Time Sales Leaders bring the Hallmark mission to life in the store. They represent the brand to customers and are vital to our success.

THE PART-TIME SALES LEADER DUTIES INCLUDE:
  1. Delivering an exceptional shopping experience that leaves guests inspired and eager to return.
  2. Modeling and coaching service and selling skills, helping customers find perfect card and gift solutions.
  3. Leading store associates in the absence of the Store Manager, providing feedback and support.
  4. Communicating daily priorities, goals, and business information while maintaining a fun and supportive team environment.
  5. Executing store operations such as product replenishment, merchandising, ringing sales, processing shipments, managing inventory, and conducting point-of-sale audits.
YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • One or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service; or at least 6 months experience in a Hallmark Store.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Availability to open and close the store 3+ times per week and work 2+ weekend shifts per month.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, push/pull, bend, reach, climb ladders, and carry up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Comfort with using computers and technology.
