WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Our Part-Time Sales Leaders bring the Hallmark mission to life in the store. They are the face of the Hallmark brand to customers and are vital to the success of Hallmark.

THE PART-TIME SALES LEADER DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Delivering an exceptional shopping experience that leaves guests feeling inspired, connected, and eager to return.
• Modeling and coaching service and selling skills while helping customers find the perfect card and gift solutions.
• Leading store associates in the absence of the Store Manager, providing feedback and support.
• Communicating daily priorities, goals, and business information, while maintaining a fun and supportive team environment.
• Executing store operations—product replenishment, merchandising, ringing sales, processing shipments, managing inventory, POS audits, and seamless retail operations.

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• One or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service; or at least 6 months in a Hallmark Corporate Store.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Availability to open and close the store 3+ times per week and work 2+ weekend shifts per month.
• Ability to stand/walk continuously; push/pull frequently; bend, stoop, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel; climb ladders; and lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
• Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Proficiency with computers and technology.

The hourly pay range is $15.75 to $16.75.
