Location: San Jose, CA | Schedule: Part-time | Compensation: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable Office Administrator to join our growing team! This is a part-time, temporary role with the potential for long-term employment based on performance and business needs. You’ll play a key role in keeping our fast-paced, startup-style office running smoothly—no two days are the same, and we like it that way.
What You'll Do:
· Keep our office organized and running like a well-oiled machine—managing supplies, expenses, mail, and vendor services (think water, cleaners, snacks!)
· Support light bookkeeping and accounting tasks—QuickBooks experience is a big plus
· Greet visitors, schedule appointments, and handle some correspondence and document prep
· Pitch in on shipping/receiving and asset tracking
· Partner with business development on small marketing and sales support tasks
· Occasionally assist with light lab assembly or testing, if you're up for it!· In office 4 - 5 hours per day, 3 - 4 days per week, during core business hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
What You Bring:
· 2+ years' experience in office administration or a related role
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—you keep things from falling through the cracks
· A self-starter mindset and the ability to pivot easily between tasks
· Comfort working independently and managing multiple responsibilities
· A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
· Reliability· Experience with QuickBooks or small business accounting is a definite asset
Pay Range:
$28.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
