Qualifications

• Oregon license with appropriate endorsement and grade level authorization.
• Understanding of human growth and development, learning theory, and brain research.
• Familiarity with state standards and curriculum frameworks for middle school.
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise students and direct staff.
• First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within two months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establish clear objectives and long- and short-range plans for instruction.
• Develop and deliver organized lessons aligned with standards.
• Assess student progress and provide prompt, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and other stakeholders.
• Support RTI and adapt instruction for diverse learners.
