Language Line LLC is seeking a Hakka-China Telephone Interpreter to provide remote interpreting services. This role involves facilitating communication between Hakka-China and English speakers across various industries, ensuring cultural sensitivity and professionalism. The position offers industry-leading training and opportunities for advancement in a supportive environment.

Location: Work at Home position in United States
Pay: $2.50 - $2.55 per minute, depending on the time of day and interpretation level as defined by LanguageLine Solutions.

The Hakka-China Telephone Interpreter handles on-demand calls, rendering the meaning of conversations between Hakka-China and English speakers. The role involves breaking communication barriers across industries such as Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, Business, Law Enforcement, Court, and 911.
The interpreter processes information quickly, recognizes cultural differences, maintains professionalism, and uses appropriate terminology. Sessions may involve technical or non-technical topics.
This role does not involve written translation; verbal interpretation is required. Translators and linguists are encouraged to apply.
This is a remote position. The interpreter works from home, ensuring a quiet and secure environment.
Post-offer background checks and drug screens may be required based on location.
