About the Role

The Hairdresser is responsible for delivering exceptional levels of service in all aspects of the spa operation in line with KERASTASE and Hotel brand standards, whilst delivering excellent five star client care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, and curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting hair.
• Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
• Keep on top of current hair cutting and styling trends
• Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Able and willing to work a flexible schedule
• Provide an excellent service to customers within the salon environment.
• Ensure customer’s needs are identified.
• Carry out treatments in a relaxed friendly and clean environment.
• Book customer’s appointments with efficient time allocated for each appointment.
• Ensure completion of customer’s record cards for every Colour and Perm appointments.
• Maintain a clean working area and sanitize tools after each customer.
• Promote and demonstrate products for retail.
• Undertake general cleaning duties to ensure the Salon is kept to high standards.
• Ensure relevant infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain the confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures
• Housekeeping, keeping salon tidy, and reflecting the HAIR SALON brand principles

About You

The ideal candidate should have at least a high school/ Certificate in Hairdressing. The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in the same role in an International Ultra-Luxury R esor t and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French. The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of in cleaning chemical.
