Job summary

Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking a Hair Stylist to enrich the lives of our patients and residents by delivering beautician services in our long-term care environment. You will perform haircuts, shampoos, and perms as requested.

This role requires state cosmetology certification and at least two years of experience in hair care. You will maintain records, manage supplies, and ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Certification by the State Board of Cosmetology is required.
• A minimum of two years' experience in hair care/beautician services is required.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with patients/residents some with impaired cognition, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public

Responsibilities

• Perform haircuts, shampoos and permanents as desired by patients/residents and/or families.
• Does manicures or pedicures as requested.
• Keep daily records in coordination with business office of patient/resident beautician charges.
• Maintain inventory of beauty supplies based on supply and demand.
• Ensure that all OSHA and safety standards are followed, adheres to HIPAA confidentiality standards of the patient/resident and complies with infection control
