Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cosmetologist committed to guest and employee safety and knowledgeable about emergency procedures. Responsibilities include staying informed about resort activities, salon treatments, and industry trends, providing a variety of salon services according to established standards, and ensuring a safe environment. The role also involves conducting salon tours, accurately communicating resort information, and participating in scheduled product inventory.

Responsibilities

1. Demonstrate commitment to making a conscientious effort to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to our guests and employee partners, damage to our property or the property of others.
2. Know the correct action to take in the event of an emergency, and demonstrate this knowledge by acting appropriately in the event of an emergency.
3. Know and share information about the resort and activities, demonstrating this knowledge by accurately communicating daily events, hours of operation, and resort/activity information to our guests and employee partners.
4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all treatments and services offered on the current salon treatment menu, as well as trends and developments within the professional spa community related to products, treatment, and techniques.
5. Awareness of all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.
6. Provide salon hair, nail, facial, and body treatments in accordance with established standards and protocols within the assigned structure.
7. Conduct tours of the salon and related facilities.
8. Participate in periodic product inventory as scheduled.

Qualifications

1. Must be 18 years of age.
2. Must possess a current State Cosmetology License.
3. Ability to stand for several hours.
4. Must be extremely customer-focused.
5. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
6. Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available.
