Bespoke Hair in Downtown San Diego is seeking a talented, well-rounded hairstylist to join our established, independently owned salon. If you’re relocating to San Diego or seeking greater independence, this is the opportunity to grow with a passionate team.

We value hospitality, consultations, and lasting guest relationships, with leadership actively involved to help you succeed. An active CA cosmetology license and 3+ years’ experience preferred.

Our Services & Specialties

Bespoke is known for offering a broad range of services, giving our team opportunities to develop their skills across multiple areas of the beauty industry.

Haircutting & Styling: Precision cuts, men's grooming, barbering, blowouts, styling, and treatments.

Color & Blonding: Custom color, grey coverage and blending, French Blending, highlights, balayage, dimensional blonding, bleach and tone, and color corrections.

Texture & Specialty Services: Modern perms, customized texture services, keratin smoothing, hair extensions, and restorative hair treatments.

Scalp & Wellness: Luxury Head Spa experiences, scalp treatments, HydraFacial, Keravive, and customized facial services.

You don't need to specialize in every service we offer. We value strong foundational skills, curiosity, and a desire to continue learning.

Who We're Looking For

• An active California cosmetology license
• A minimum of 3 years of professional salon experience, ideally with independent experience behind the chair
• Confidence in haircutting, color, and guest consultations
• A genuine interest in building relationships and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• A collaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and professional mindset
• An interest in continuing education, career development, and long-term growth

Experience working in a commission-based salon, familiarity with performance goals, or previous experience in a structured salon environment is a plus.

An established clientele is welcome, but not required. We're equally interested in talented stylists who are relocating, rebuilding their books, or seeking a more personalized, career-focused salon environment.
