Job summary

Great Clips is seeking a Salon Manager in San Leandro, CA to lead daily operations, coach a team of stylists, and ensure exceptional client service. You’ll manage scheduling and workflow, drive performance, and implement leadership initiatives to grow the salon’s success.

Ideal candidates hold a Cosmetology and/or Barber license, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for mentoring staff to deliver great haircuts and a positive guest experience.

What you bring to the team

To join a Great Clips salon team as a Salon Manager, you’ll need:

• A valid Cosmetology and/or Barber License (requirements vary by state/province)
• Strong technical haircutting skills and the ability to help others grow their skills and confidence
• Proven leadership ability or readiness to take on full salon responsibility
• Excellent communication skills and the desire to motivate, develop, and support a team
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day salon operations
• Comfort with technology and salon tools (scheduling systems, metrics, and reports)
