Little Lion - Park Slope Hair Salon Assistant

Location: Brooklyn, NY · Type: Full time

Little Lion is looking for some fresh talent to join our team.

If you're looking for a supportive environment with crystal clear, attainable pathways to getting behind the chair, then this is the salon for you!

We are not looking for forever assistants.

We groom, teach and promote. Simple.

Before we get you behind the chair, here's what you can expect on a day to day:

• Perform shampoos, blow dries and finishing styles like iron work
• Inventory management (we will teach you processes)
• Salon cleanliness and organization
• Checking guests in and out
• Hospitality
• Hosting the room

We require:

• A minimum of 2 years assistant experience
• Experienced with performing blowouts
• A willingness to learn, grow and accept mentorship and feedback
• A commitment to helping upkeep an environment of positivity and acceptance
