Kiss Nail Products, Inc. in Port Washington, NY, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Product Development – Hair Product to help bring new hair and beauty concepts from concept to commercialization.

You’ll collaborate with Product, IPM, Design, Sales, and overseas vendors to manage concepts, samples, specs, cost, quality, and timelines. The role emphasizes trend research, vendor coordination, packaging input, and supporting both Vivace and new hair brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4–8 years in hair/beauty product development or related field.
• Experience with overseas vendors/factories is a plus.
• Knowledge of sampling, costing, specifications and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Research market trends and identify opportunities for new hair product development.
• Develop concepts based on trends, customer needs and business objectives.
• Manage sample development from concept through final approval.
• Source with overseas vendors/factories on product development.
• Establish and maintain product specifications, materials, colors and quality standards.
• Review samples and coordinate necessary modifications.
• Coordinate with Design on packaging and presentation requirements.
• Partner with IPM to support production transition and initial POs.
• Monitor trends and competitor products to identify opportunities.
• Support development activities for Vivace products and new hair brands.
• Maintain development documentation, sample records and timelines.
