Location : Austin, TX / Houston, TX / Palo Alto, CA / Sunnyvale, CA

Full Time

Job Description:

• 5 – 7+ years of experience in implementation and administration of Hadoop infrastructure
• Operational expertise in troubleshooting, understanding of system’s capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks
• Hands‑on experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, HBase, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, Spark, Oozie
• Hadoop administration skills: experience working with MApr, HDP, Cloudera, or Ambari. (Please highlight this in your submission if you find suitable candidates)
• Exposure to setting up AD/LDAP/Kerberos authentication models
• Experience in shell scripting and exposure to Python
• Knowledge of troubleshooting core Java applications is a plus
• Exposure to real‑time execution engines like Spark, Storm, Kafka
• Well experienced with Linux systems
• Able to install, configure, and fine‑tune Mapr clusters
• Experienced with troubleshooting Hadoop application MapReduce jobs, Hive, Pig, HBase
• Experienced with leading big‑data admin team onsite/offshore
• Experienced with Hadoop upgrades and troubleshooting
