Essential Functions

Pay Rate: $27.50 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am).

• Documentation: Ensures food safety documentation meets legal/regulatory requirements, including documentation of corrective actions.
• Compliance: Monitors production processes and performs routine checks to ensure compliance with food safety and quality programs.
• Process Control: Ensures processes are in control and products meet company standards.
• Product Disposition: Directs product disposition, including inventory control and reconditioning procedures.
• Sanitation: Verifies sanitation practices through pre-operational equipment inspections.
• Communication: Communicates with production/maintenance personnel/supervision to resolve quality and food safety issues.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1-3 years of experience in food processing.
• Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs, and SSOPs is preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Detail-oriented and proficient in mathematics.
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in various temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
