Job summary

A leading home health care provider in Butler County is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide one-on-one support for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting clients with daily activities and participating in community integration. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and experience, though training is available. This role offers competitive pay starting at $17.50-$18 per hour and benefits including flexible scheduling and paid training.

Qualifications

  • One year experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities; paid training available if not experienced.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
  • Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities.
  • Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
  • Participate in community integration activities.

Pay starting at $17.50-$18 per hour
