Description

Position Title: Busser (Apache Tee, Broken Arrow Tap House, Wendell’s, Red Hat Grille, The Market at the Mountain)

Reports To: Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor

Summary Of Position: Assist the server assigned to you during your shift by preparing tea, coffee, ice; stocking glassware, dinnerware, and plates; pre-bussing your assigned stations. Assist all customers in the dining room and break down bussed items in the dishwashing area.

Key Responsibilities And Performance/Behaviors
  1. Ability to explain and demonstrate hospitality behaviors and performance standards.
  2. Understand where to get information needed to complete tasks to standard.
  3. Explain and demonstrate technical skills used to complete tasks.
  4. Take ownership of problems and solve them when solutions are not readily available.
  5. Provide guests with directions or venue information and handle comments/complaints professionally.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
  7. Assist other departments as needed.
  8. Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  9. Meet attendance and appearance standards.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  11. Support teamwork and contribute ideas for improvement.
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience. Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a loud, smoky environment with potential exposure to biohazards and guest hostility.
