Job summary

Total Safety is seeking an H2S Technician in Kermit, Texas. This role involves operating and maintaining Gas Detection Systems and Breathing Air Safety Equipment at drilling rigs or production platforms.

The ideal candidate will have H2S and/or Upstream experience and will be responsible for safety equipment checks, calibration, and documentation completion. Total Safety values safety and compliance, providing a supportive work environment and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 3 – 6 months’ H2S and/or Upstream experience.
• Successfully complete H2S Academy Training.
• Trained to complete site inspections using SMART Inspections program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Rigging Gas Detection Systems.
• Calibrates gas detection and performs equipment checks.
• Completes all documentation associated with assigned tasks.
