Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from CAATE-accredited program.
  • Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Minimum of five years managing an athletic training program (NCAA/Olympic/military/professional).
  • Experience supervising multiple athletic trainers and/or sports medicine staff.
  • Military experience preferred.
  • Current Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC).
  • Unrestricted state AT license/registration/certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers with AED.
  • Ability to teach effectively in classroom and field settings.
  • Experience developing course content of similar scope and complexity.
  • Experience delivering engaging instruction to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Strong initiative and interpersonal skills; able to work with diverse Soldiers.
  • English reading/writing/speaking proficiency.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Maintain required certifications/licenses throughout employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Willingness to travel 25–50%, including CONUS/OCONUS.
  • Weekend travel when required.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and train Soldiers and H2F personnel on holistic Soldier readiness.
  • Communicate H2F doctrine, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Participate in pre-implementation planning meetings with HIT and Brigade representatives.
  • Develop AT-specific implementation plans based on unit assessments.
  • Review unit data, culture, history, and requirements for site visits.
  • Develop or modify H2F content with Government approval.
  • Travel with the HIT to sites and deliver standardized instruction.
  • Help integrate H2F practices into unit training schedules and operations.
  • Participate in post-implementation meetings to reinforce standards.
  • Support virtual H2F implementation activities for various Army components.
  • Provide reports and recommendations on H2F progression.
