Job summary

Cognito Systems, a joint venture with Planned Systems International (PSI), seeks an Athletic Trainer for the Army’s H2F program at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to drive injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization for soldiers.

Minimum requirements include CAATE-accredited education, BOC certification, NPI, and U.S. citizenship, with on-site responsibilities and access to CIMT tools for outcomes tracking.

Qualifications

• Degree from CAATE-accredited program and BOC certification.
• Eligible for state licensure/registration in the U.S.
• U.S. Citizenship or work eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team that may include physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, dietitians, cognitive performance experts, and occupational therapists.
• Deliver prevention-focused care, acute injury management, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries.
• Engage in performance optimization addressing physical, mental, nutritional, sleep, and spiritual domains.
• Support unit leaders with evidence-based strategies to reduce injuries, promote recovery, and enhance unit readiness.
• Leverage CIMT-developed data/tools to track and improve performance outcomes.
• Improve soldier performance, ACFT pass rates, and resilience across the force.
