TPD is currently hiring a Civil Engineer to serve as a H&H Study/Design Task Leader for projects in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, with the opportunity to grow into a Project Manager over time if that is a priority for the selected candidate. Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with H&H study/design and applicable software.

The role includes leading H&H studies for agency, county, municipal, institutional, and private clients while expanding proficiency in HEC tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• P.E. License in New Jersey or Pennsylvania (one state required; upon hiring, commitment to apply for the other).
• 5+ years of experience with H&H study/design.
• Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-18, PondPACK.
• Familiarity with CAD software (MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with drainage design, stormwater management and E&S design (preferred).
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a task leader for H&H studies and designs, including signing/sealing modeling runs and reports.
• Lead H&H study/design projects for NJ/PA clients and coordinate with agencies and municipalities.
• Collaborate with team members and manage project scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to project management growth toward PM role.
