Job summary

Contract Transport Services, LLC is seeking a customer-focused logistics professional to serve as the primary point of contact for shipment status, delivery schedules, and service issues in the United States. You will monitor daily freight activity, communicate delays, track load status via TMS, and review documentation to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include processing EDI transactions, maintaining operational reports, and collaborating with Account and Fleet Managers

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, service issues, and transportation updates.
• Monitor daily freight activity and proactively communicate delays, missed appointments, service failures, OS&D, and other operational concerns.
• Track and update load status accurately through the TMS and other transportation operating systems.
• Process and monitor EDI transactions and customer freight requirements as applicable.
• Review bills of lading, proof of delivery, and other transportation documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain daily operational reports and assist with tracking key performance metrics, including on-time pickup and delivery.
• Identify recurring service issues and communicate opportunities for operational improvement to Account Manager.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Account Manager and Fleet Manager to ensure customer expectations and service requirements are consistently met.
• Maintain required paperwork and accurately update weights, times, and other shipment information for all dedicated shipments.

• Pay or shift range: $50,000 USD to $55,000 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
