Job summary

Onesubsea in Katy, TX is seeking an Assembler to assemble components across Product Lines, test assemblies, and troubleshoot issues.

You will read blueprints, use hand tools and precision equipment, and help drive continuous improvement through the Manufacturing System. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and good Excel/Word skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years electro-mechanical assembler experience.
• High school diploma minimum; higher technical education preferred.
• IPC 610/IPC 620 knowledge is a plus but not required.

Mission

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
• Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
• Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Create labor records for all transactions.
• Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Experience & Exposures

• Production Workflow
• Production Assembly
  • 2 Years Electro-mechanical assembler experience
  • Minimum High School degree, Higher technical education preferred
