The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional at Baylor Scott & White Health. The RN uses the nursing model to coordinate patient care, assess needs, and implement individualized plans while ensuring safe passage through the surgical process.

Essential functions include clinical judgment, quality improvement participation, and collaboration with the care team to meet patient needs and promote optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license or eligibility in Texas.
• Experience in operating room nursing preferred.
• Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assess and plan patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Coordinate patient care with the OR team for safe transitions.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly.
• Document nursing actions and patient responses accurately.
