NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island in Commack is seeking a Medical Assistant for the FGP - GYN team. You will assist physicians and nurses, prepare patients and rooms, draw blood, take vital signs, and perform data entry.

The role includes administrative tasks, scheduling, and using EPIC for documentation while upholding HIPAA and infection control standards. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program preferred.
• MA program completion or certification required by hire; national certs encouraged.
• Proficiency in English; clear communication with patients and team.

Responsabilités

• Escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Measures and records vital signs.
• Obtains and processes blood samples per policy.
• Schedules appointments and performs data entry.
• Answers phone calls and manages inbasket messages.
• Transcribes visits into EPIC and assists with chart prep.
