Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ seeks a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts in the Gynecologic Oncology service. This ambulatory role integrates with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care and coordinate plans of care.

The RN will assess patient health, administer chemotherapy with stringent safety protocols, document in EMR, and collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• Valid NJ RN License.
• Chemotherapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists management with maintaining par inventory levels in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Takes appropriate clinical actions to achieve positive outcomes for patients, visitors and staff.
• Independently prioritizes daily tasks and assignments.
• Utilizes computer systems as required.
• Provides care in ambulatory practices as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care using nursing process.
• Collaborates with health care team to promote evidenced-based care and patient safety.
