Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the MGBCI Ambulatory Gynecologic Oncology team in Boston. This 40-hour/week position provides ambulatory care to adult patients with gynecologic malignancies, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and researchers to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree of Physician Assistant
• Valid prescriptive authority from both MA DPH and Federal DEA required
• MA PA License required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments for gynecologic oncology patients.
• Develop, implement, and manage treatment plans with attending physicians.
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, review results, and communicate findings to patients.
• Manage gynecologic oncology patients receiving local and systemic therapies.
• Monitor treatment response and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and supportive care.
• Write orders and manage therapies per current guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes.
• Support access to care and coordinate appointments, testing, and follow-up services.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform bedside procedures as appropriate and serve as a clinical resource.
