Qualifikationen

• Oncology or gynecologic oncology experience preferred; strong clinical skills and an interest in oncology encouraged.
• Excellent communication skills and sound clinical judgment.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with gynecologic malignancies.
• Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop assessment and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinic, inpatient, procedural, surgical, and infusion-related responsibilities as needed.
• Evaluate and manage patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other cancer-directed treatments.
• Manage treatment-related toxicities, symptoms, and acute oncology concerns.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care and assist with surgical planning and follow-up.
• Participate in cancer surveillance and management of recurrent disease.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medications, symptoms, and supportive care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Respond to urgent and emergent clinical concerns.
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based clinical practice.
• Contribute to development and improvement of APP clinical workflows and patient-care processes.
