University Health in San Antonio is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Gynecologic Oncology team. The APP will work with a multidisciplinary group to deliver evidence-based cancer care and support patients throughout the cancer treatment continuum.

Ideal candidates have strong clinical judgment and communication skills, with oncology or gynecologic oncology experience preferred but open to motivated clinicians with solid skills and an interest in oncology.

Formación

• Oncology/gynecologic oncology experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Motivated with interest in cancer care and APP leadership

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with gynecologic malignancies.
• Obtain histories, perform exams, and develop treatment plans.
• Participate in clinic, inpatient, procedural, surgical, and infusion-related activities as needed.
• Manage patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Handle treatment-related toxicities and oncologic emergencies.
• Support preoperative and postoperative care and surgical planning.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, options, and supportive care.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and team members.
