Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist in Westminster, Colorado. The role involves diagnosing and treating cancers of the female reproductive system, performing complex robotic and open surgeries, and leading multidisciplinary tumor board discussions to coordinate patient care.

You will craft individualized treatment plans and participate in survivorship care, with emphasis on ethics and excellence.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Residency or fellowship in gynecologic oncology completed or in progress.
• Unrestricted DEA registration.
• Board certified or eligible in gynecologic oncology.
• Medical staff privileges within sponsoring institution.
• Current and unrestricted medical license in applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and stage gynecologic cancers using exams, biopsies, labs, and imaging.
• Perform radical, complex, and minimally invasive/robotic gynecologic surgeries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, hormonal, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Participate in Tumor Boards with radiation oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists.
• Provide long-term follow-up for recovery, recurrence screening, and survivorship care.
• Adhere to AMA medical ethics and specialty board standards.
• Leverage physician group resources to optimize operations.
