Job summary

The City of Plymouth is seeking a part-time Preschool and Youth Gymnastics Instructor to lead safe, engaging sessions. Training is provided before start dates and a curriculum is supplied. Programs run September through May and are held on Saturdays.

Candidates must have youth experience and gymnastics or dance background, be at least 16 by start date, and enjoy working as part of a team to deliver inclusive, high-quality recreation programs.

• Work as part of a team to ensure quality programs.
• Follow staff policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe, fun and appropriate experience for all participants.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Instruct and assist with preschool and youth gymnastics programs in a safe environment.
• Curriculum provided for part-time positions.
• Training provided prior to program start.
• Programs run September through May.
• Programs are held on Saturdays.
• Must be available to work 3 out of 4 Saturdays each month.
• No programs are held on holiday weekends.
