Job summary

The Little Gym of Costa Mesa is seeking energetic coaches to lead classes for children aged 4 months to 12 years, using our curriculum. This part-time role involves teaching back-to-back classes, engaging kids, and ensuring safety.

You will join a fun, active team with opportunities for growth after training. Training provided; evenings and weekends required; 10–15 hours/week to start.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics, dance, cheer, sports, or performing arts is a plus.
• Comfortable speaking and performing in front of groups.
• Athletic, energetic, and able to stay active throughout classes.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to lift and spot children of various sizes.
• We are willing to train the right candidate!

At The Little Gym, we help children ages 4 months–12 years build confidence, coordination, and new skills through movement, gymnastics, and play. Our coaches are teachers, performers, and role models who create memorable experiences for children and families.

This is an active coaching role. Coaches should expect to teach multiple back-to-back classes during their shift, working with children ranging from Parent & Child classes to Pre-K and Grade School programs.

Responsibilities:

• Teach fun, engaging classes using The Little Gym curriculum
