Greater Austin YMCA seeks a Gymnastics Instructor to lead youth gymnastics classes, teaching age-appropriate skills while fostering a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environment. You will guide students through chants, jumps, and basic stunts, tailoring lessons to developmental levels and coordinating performances and events.
You bring a background in dance, gymnastics, or cheer/tumbling, plus a 16+ age requirement and preferred instructor experience.
At the YMCA, we believe in nurturing confidence, strength, and a sense of belonging in every child. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you help young athletes grow not only in their physical abilities but also in their courage, discipline, and self-expression. You will lead classes for students of all levels, teaching foundational body movement, coordination, and muscle development while creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Through your guidance, students build self-confidence, develop poise and grace, and discover the joy of mastering new skills—all within a welcoming community that encourages them to reach their fullest potential.
