Job summary

The Little Gym International in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a part-time coach to teach movement-based classes for children aged 4 months through 12 years. You will lead energetic, age-appropriate sessions, demonstrate skills, and ensure safety while delivering memorable experiences for families.

Ideal candidates are athletic, comfortable performing in front of groups, and eager to join a training-focused team offering growth and a fun, active work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics, dance, cheer, sports, or performing arts is a plus.
• Comfortable speaking and performing in front of groups.
• Athletic, energetic, and able to stay active throughout classes.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to lift and spot children of various sizes.

Are you energetic, outgoing, and passionate about working with children? Do you love being active, performing, and creating fun experiences for kids? We’re looking for enthusiastic coaches who can bring energy, confidence, and positivity to every class.

At The Little Gym, we help children ages 4 months–12 years build confidence, coordination, and new skills through movement, gymnastics, and play. Our coaches are teachers, performers, and role models who create memorable experiences for children and families.

This is an active coaching role. Coaches should expect to teach multiple back-to-back classes during their shift, working with children ranging from Parent & Child classes to Pre‑K and Grade School programs.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

Schedule

• Part‑time position (approximately 10–15 hours/week to start)
• Evening and weekend availability required
• Additional hours may become available based on business needs

• $18–$20/hour after completion of initial training
