Job summary

The Gymnastics Instructor at Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District is responsible for independently instructing gymnasts at all class levels and leading programmed classes. This position requires weekend availability to support evening and weekend sessions while maintaining a high level of safety and engagement.

You will ensure proper technique, adapt activities to skill level, and uphold facility policies in a positive, energetic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics or related disciplines such as dance, parkour, ninja, or cheerleading.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Maintain a high level of physical activity for extended periods
• Ability to demonstrate skills and actively participate in instruction
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
