Job summary

The Madison Area YMCA in Madison, NJ, is seeking a part-time Gymnastics Assistant Instructor to support lead instructors in delivering fun, safe, and educational gymnastics classes for youth.

You will help maintain a clean, organized facility and equipment, follow all safety guidelines, and foster a welcoming environment for participants and families. Training and abuse risk management are part of the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead instructor in delivering fun, energetic, safe, and educational gymnastics classes for youth.

• Follow all YMCA policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Support a welcoming and encouraging environment for participants and their families.
• Adhere to policies related to boundaries with youth.
• Attend required abuse risk management training.
• Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth.
• Report suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
• Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
