Step It Up Performing Arts in Aurora, CO is seeking a dynamic Gymnastic/Acro Instructor to lead engaging classes for children ages 5–7, blending technique with creativity in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will design age-appropriate lessons, teach weekly sessions, collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, and communicate clearly with families. A passion for teaching young performers and reliable commute are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gymnastics/ Acro instruction, with a background in Acro.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring young people, with excellent communication and classroom management.
• A reliable vehicle and ability to commute to the studio location is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver captivating lesson plans for diverse age groups (ages 5 to 7) and skill levels (beginner to Intermediate).
• Teach weekly classes, ensuring students develop technique, confidence, and a genuine love for movement.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere where students feel safe to explore and express themselves.
• Collaborate with studio directors and fellow instructors to align curriculum and ensure a cohesive student experience.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and strong communication with students, parents, and staff.
• Be punctual, reliable, and prepared for every class session.
